10 of the Best Sites to submit your DIY tutorials // Updated

When you make a DIY tutorial, you want to share it with the world, but sometimes that can be hard especially if you are just getting started on your blog.
It has been almost two years since I started blogging, since then I've been discovering new sites and tried a few, some are not that good, they take a lot of time and sometimes your diy never gets featured, others like these ones are great, bringing traffic and new followers to your blog.
Of course this is just a selection of my favorites, so if you know any others fell free to share, so I can add them to the list.

So before you spend hours searching web for websites, here is a list of my top 10 favorite sites where you can submit your tutorials.

1- Craftgawker, Foodgawker and Stylegawker
These gawker sites are super popular, if you haven't heard about it, where have you been?
But seriously, craftgawker is the one that drives most of my redirected views and is also my favorite to discover new crafts.
You can submit craft tutorials to craftgawker, nail tutorials and fashion related posts to stylegawker and recipes to foodgawker.
You have to be registered to submit your posts and the administration is rigorous with the submitted pictures, but if you have good quality pictures and nice posts you can easily get featured.

2- Roadkill Rescue
This is a reporpuse and recycling blog, where you can find great ideas from the owner Beckie and from other bloggers who submit their projects.
You don't have to be registered to submit, all you have to do is fill out a form with your post information.
Click here to the submition page.

3- Totally Tutorials
It's very easy to submit to this blog as well, although sometimes can take a while for them to publish your tutorial, due to the amount of submitions.
Click here to fill the submition form.

4- Recyclart
If you like to make recycled crafts like me, this is also a great site, all my submitted posts here were accepted with no problem, once again no registration required, just a form with the post information and pictures.

5- Craftgossip
This is also a nice site, when you submit your tutorial you have to choose the category of your craft, each category has a different editor. You can also submit recipes and food related posts in the edible crafts category. Submit here.

6- Cut out and keep
Also a good site, although your tutorial needs to be written in the Submission Form and your tutorial is hosted on their site, good for crafters who don't have their own blog but still want to share their ideas.
Here you also have to be registered to submit and you can add your social media and blog information on your profile. I also have an account here if you want to follow.

7- Copycat Crafts
Have you made any designer inspired DIY lately or cook up your own version of a well-known recipe? This is the best place to submit it. No need for registration, all you have to do is fill out their form.

8- Create Happy Crafts
Here you can submit every kind of crafts, also running a craft-a-month challenge if you want to join. Click here to submit.

9- Blitsy
Blitsy is mainly an online craft supply store, but they also have a great inspiration section where you can submit your craft tutorials, you will need to register and like most of these sites your submission will be reviewed by their team. Click here to submit

10- Kollabora
And lastly this is one of my recent favorites, the idea here is unite crafters of all skill levels and craft categories to share projects and get inspired, the main reason that I like it so much is that allows video embedding, so I can share my youtube videos. Plus there are some fantastic projects there, and I recommend you to take pay them a visit and check out for yourself.

Here are a few more that you might want to give it a try:
Looksi Square
A Little Craft In Your Day
Dollar Store Crafts

  1. Thanks for mentioning Create Happy Crafts :) Two other sites I submit tutorials to are Freeneedle and Ravelry. Freeneedle is just for sewing projects and Ravelry is for crochet and knitting patterns, but both generate a lot of traffic.
