Easy 10 min yogurt cake recipe

This recipe is so simple that I had to share it with you guys.
The only instructions are to throw everything in a bowl and whisk.
I also added a lemon glaze to mine.

For the cake:
2 plain yogurts of 125g
5 eggs
using the yogurt cup as a measure
4 yogurt cups of flour
4 yogurt cups of sugar
1 yogurt cup vegetable oil
1 teaspoon baking powder
flour to dust

For the glaze:
1 cup confectioner's sugar
2 tablespoons freshly squeezed lemon juice

Preheat oven to 170 °C or 338°F
Butter a loaf pan and dust flour inside the pan coating all sides.

In a bowl whisk the eggs, yogurt, sugar, flour, baking powder and oil.
Mix well until completely blended.
Pour the batter into the prepared pan and bake for 35 minutes.

When the cake is done cooking let it cool in the pan.

Make the glaze by whisking together the confectioners sugar and lemon juice.
Pour glaze over the fully cooled cake.

Wait 30 minutes before slicing to allow the glaze to set.
And it's ready to eat.

On youtube I came across this simple tutorial on how to make circle skirts, it has very few steps and you can make as many skirts as you want.

Final but not least, I am loving the great ideas bloggers are creating with cement, and this pot is super stylish and adorable.

I hope you all have a great week

Quote canvas

Hi there, I had a small canvas stored in my shelf for a while and decided to make a quote canvas to put on my living room.

I don't have the step by step pictures on how to make it, but the steps are few and very simple, you just need to draw the letters on the canvas and paint carefully with the colors you prefer.

I used this font called "cac champagne" you can download it for free here.

I want to make a printable of this and maybe sell it in my etsy shop, what do you think?
I hope you enjoyed this

Personalized watercolor

Hi everyone,

I hope you all had a great weekend, even though always seems to pass really fast.  x)
Today I want to share with you a watercolor I did recently to give as a present to a friend.

Since the gift was for a baby, and we are almost on valentine's day I painted a cute girly cupid, with my Cotman Watercolours on a 300 g/m watercolor paper.

As a background for the frame I painted a whole sheet of paper with acrylic paint leaving the letters of the name "Catarina" in white.

Here is the finished piece, I am really pleased with the result, it looks really cute and simple, and my friend loved it too, so I think this project was a success.  :)

Valentine's Day Nails

Hi everyone, the other day I painted my nails with this gray nail polish, an then thought it looked kind of boring, so I decided to spice it up by making some stripes and heart shapes over the gray. It actually ended up pretty cute.

I made a video while making my nails so you can see the process and how to make this design yourself.

Valentine's day candle jar

Hi everyone, today's project is once again a recycled decoration item, this time for Valentine's day.

  • Jar;
  •  Ribbon;
  • Mate black spray paint;
  • Painter's tape;
  • Black marker;
  • X-acto;
  • Nail art white nail polish or a white paint marker;

  1. Start by putting the tape on the jar, in the place you want the hearts to be ;
  2. Draw the hearts and cut them with the x-acto, take out the excess tape;
  3. Spray paint the whole jar;
  4. When dry, using the x-acto to help, take of the heart shaped tape;
  5. Draw the dashed lines around the hearts, with the nail polish or a paint marker;
  6. Tie a cute red bow at the top.
