This style is one of the easiest bracelets that you can make, so for those of you who don't know how or might be struggling, here's a step-by-step video showing you all the basics to create this type of friendship bracelet. Materials used:
3 meters of nylon cord, 0,5 mm thick.
I haven't done a bracelet video in a while and whilst brainstorming ideas for my next video I came to youtube’s community tab for insights. The vast majority of you voted for macrame friendship bracelets, so get your threads ready because here they come!
I settled on 3 styles of bracelets all of them closing with a button and using waxed cotton cords. If you want them to have a more grown-up look you can make them with a satin or nylon cord and close with crimp ends and chain.
Once you get the hang of it you can make a bunch pretty quickly. Wear them yourself or share with friends, since I’m sure they will love them.
Friendship style bracelets have been a hit both here on the blog, as well as on my youtube channel, so if you are still looking for more laidback summer style bracelets, this time I decided to try this string Pura Vida® inspired design.
Even though it seems that I've been making a lot of bracelets recently, one theme that I wanted to do for a while was Bracelets for Men and never actually got around to making a tutorial. So when my friend Helder asked me if I could make him some super stylish accessories I thought it was the perfect opportunity.
If you are looking for gift ideas for guys, maybe for valentine's, father's day or even Christmas, I think these are perfect, they don't cost that much, take little time to make and you can personalize the color and style to match their personality.
Of course, these are also perfect for girls to wear, no type of discrimination intended here ;) I also made an Infinity knot one for myself using red leather laces.
The supplies used in this project are from endlessleather.com, they kindly provided everything I needed to make these bracelets. I’ve used their leather cords in past projects, they are my favorite, the quality is really good, and the clasps are stainless steel, so they won't get damaged over time, which is great.
This season I've been seeing some stores sell this sort of mix between a bracelet and a hair tie that I find super handy. Not only looks good as a bracelet but it's also functional.
So following this trend I created this set of different styles that you can try, all of them very easy to make.
These are also really cute to make with your best friend as a friendship bracelet or make a complete set to give as a gift.
Watch the video bellow for step-by-step instructions and all the supplies are listed bellow it.

Even though I'm no longer in school, I could not pass this opportunity to make a themed craft. My two younger sisters start in September, and before starting to buy new supplies this was the perfect timing to brainstorm some upcycling ideas to make with the old ones. We ended up deciding on je…
